The Banker and The Bomb
At the outbreak of war in 1939, the British government hired banker Charles Hambro as part of their spy unit the Special Operations Executive.
With his intelligence and quick thinking, Hambro soon worked his way up the ranks.
His crowning glory was the operation he devised to disrupt the German nuclear program in the early years of World War II.
